Conversations is an analogue photography series exploring the interaction between light, movement, and material. In this work, two studio lights face each other, illuminating a delicate sheet of tissue paper. The heat and intensity of the light make the paper tremble gently, creating subtle shifts, shadows, and textures.

Through this minimalist setup, the series examines light as both subject and language—a silent dialogue of warmth, distance, and presence. Shot entirely on film, Conversations reflects Tania Sanjurjo’s ongoing exploration of analogue photographic processes and the poetic tension between stillness and transformation.
